Welcome to
Compassionate Conversations!
Your emotions, behaviors, and beliefs are a reflection of what you’ve been through and how you’ve adapted.
Imagine if our pain could show us what we need and lead us toward healing.
In this space, we’ll take a closer look at your experiences and uncover how they’ve shaped your journey, helping you make sense of everything along the way.
You’re perfectly human.
Your journey matters—let's explore it together.
“My personal journey has inspired me to support people dealing with mood disorders, relationship challenges, chronic emotional and physical pain, anxiety, family and complex trauma, the effects of a loved one’s incarceration, and childhood trauma. I'm here to help you navigate these challenges with understanding and care.”
Handling feelings of self-doubt, shame, guilt, sadness, mood swings, or anger all on your own can feel really overwhelming and tiring. You don’t have to go through it alone.
Together, we can create a safe space for understanding and compassion as you navigate your journey.
Reasons clients come to see me
Here are some of the reasons people come to see me: to work through tough emotions, manage mood challenges, improve relationships, heal from past experiences, deal with anxiety, and find support through life’s ups and downs.
Whatever you’re going through,
I’m here to help.
Complex Trauma
The parts of yourself that feel challenging, whether in your own behavior or in others, may have once helped you through tough moments. Together, we’ll explore and better understand these parts, nurturing compassion for them, so you can take steps toward the life you want to create.
Chronic Emotional and Physical Pain
Chronic pain often accompanies anxiety and fear, creating a challenging pain-fear cycle that heightens sensations and distress. Together, we will gently explore this cycle with empathy and compassion, guiding you toward a path of healing and comfort.
Therapy for Mood Challenges
Dealing with mood swings, self-doubt, shame, guilt, or anger all by yourself can be really exhausting. You’re not meant to go through these tough emotions alone. Together, we can create space for understanding and compassion as you navigate your journey.
Cross-Cultural Relationship Counseling
As a first-generation South Korean immigrant, I deeply understand the unique challenges faced by international students and workers. From adapting to new environments and long-distance relationships to navigating interracial dynamics and the stresses of immigration, I’m here to offer warm support and guidance.
Like you, I have found that counselling has helped me with my anxiety and grief.
I am no stranger to the challenges that come with self-doubt, guilt, depression, and the mood swings linked to mood disorders. Having faced a burn accident, fibromyalgia, panic attacks, and complex PTSD, I have a deep sense of empathy for those dealing with the ongoing challenges of chronic physical and emotional conditions.
“The greatest sources of our suffering are the lies we tell ourselves.”
